This is the panohead that I think will best meet my needs as a photographer and the geek in me as a computer guy. After all, I have a grad degree in Information Systems. I can hardly wait to get some good cycling pictures and nature shots. In the meantime there is an excellent review on this device in Digital Outback Photography by Uwe Steinmueller.

It happens the panoramas were stitched using Kolor [Autopano Pro & GigaPan] software–the same software I have decided to use. At this point, It’s Gigapan for me!
