Also registered for the Seattle to Portland [STP] 204-mile bike ride, July 12 & 13. I intend to ride my VK2 for this ride. On completion, I make a relatively slow trip to Iowa, stopping by Mount Rushmore in the Back Hills of South Dakota.

I am now registered and will be camping. At this point, I do not know which of my cycles I will ride. I plan to carry my Trek Project One [DF]; my SWB low-racer, Velokraft VK2; and, my trike, Catrike 700 [Silk]. The Saturday ride is out & back, so I can then select the cycle for Day2. After that, I will have to ride the same bike for the remainder of the event or possibly return to Bristol to change cycles. I’ll look at the logistics and then determine.
This is a time that I would be nice to have a travel partner. Oh well…
