Actually 102 miles; but, whose counting. She returned to Inverness, Florida to ride the Withlacoochee Trail. An annual Clean Air Ride was held yesterday. I could not make it and decided I’d do a century by myself. One of the other riders here at the hotel gave me a map of a route that added 8 miles so that riders would have 100 miles. I just have 102 based on the route I rode. The ride has been uploaded to Motion Based: 0803230733WST

The ride took longer than I expected. My moving average was 13.1 mph. I did have a friction [rubbing problem] with the front inside wheel covers and the inside disc brake adjustment knob. I hope to resolve tonight for tomorrow’s ride.
This is the earliest in the year that I have ridden a century. In 2006 I rode centuries in May as I prepared for the Fayetteville to Key West Tour and then I did consecutive in June on that tour for 1,062 miles.
For Centuries, I’d prefer my DF or VK2 to get it over with as soon as possible. I do think I can have faster times with Silk. She did well on hills today–about 3,000 feet of climbing.
