Today, as I rode on a long wooden bridge (a wet, somewhat pollen covered bridge) as fast as I might, I touched my brake too hard and went down–twice actually. So, I post this with a sprained wrist (from the second fall) and my Project One in the hospital (LBS) for replacement of the rear brake and derailleur control.
While it’s there, I have a few other things done–replace the handlebar, chain, and rear cassette. I’ve put a lot of miles on this bike since its purchase and I tend to do at least one upgrade annually–this year the handlebar. I just did not know it would be today that the Project One would get it do.
At least, I have another road bike to ride and I have my bents. I plan to ride tomorrow morning’s C4 Club Ride. I’m treating the wrist with a wrist band and taking Advil. We will see…
